Meetings each day will convene at 8:00 and adjourn at 5:00. Complete agendas for each meeting will be available on the new IDB Forum Web site (www.idbforum.org) next week.

Attendees will be hosted to an evening event that showcases the preparation of the demonstration vehicles for the upcoming Convergence conference. IDB Forum members will tour the integration facility where IDB-C and IDB-1394 devices are being prepared for a large-scale demonstration at Cobo Hall during the Convergence exhibit on 16-18 October.

This also marks the first technical tour presented by the IDB Forum, and will give attendees an opportunity for a "behind-the-scenes" look at how the systems are being built and installed, and the vehicles -- including a Mack Vision 460 truck, that will showcase these IDB technologies. Planned for the demonstration are multiple networks with audio, video, and data devices all internetworked using IDB technology.

This will also be the first public introduction of IDB-1394, which has been developed jointly by the IDB Forum and 1394 Trade Association. The evening event is scheduled for September 27 and includes transportation between the Marriott and the vehicle integration facility.

For these meetings, a continental breakfast, morning and afternoon break, and lunch will be provided.

The 1394 Joint AuWG meeting is open to IDB Forum and 1394TA members. The 6th General Meeting is open to all IDB Forum members. Registration for all meetings must be completed on-line, no later than noon on September 22. On-site registrations will not be accepted.
