In a joint effort with the Installer Institute, the Mobile Electronics Retailers Association (MERA) recently announced that noted installer David "Fishman" Rivera will be on hand to provide fabrication training for installers at each of MERA’s upcoming Mobile Education Tour events. Rivera has certainly become well known as one of the 12-volt industry’s most inventive and lively system designers and installers.Installers who attend these events will be given opportunities to network with Rivera, as well as to ask him specific questions, and even learn some of his tips and secrets.
Rivera, who first earned his nickname by integrating a real, working fish tank (with live fish) into an installation, has built a reputation for creating some of the most imaginative and extreme mobile electronics creations. Fishman Audio in Miramar, Florida, has provided Rivera with opportunities to devote his time to building demo vehicles for mobile entertainment manufacturers.
