Colby from Survivor to make Guest Appearance at 2001 dB Drag Racing World Finals

Survivor superstar Colby Donaldson is scheduled to "Meet & Greet" attendees at the dB Drag Racing World Finals in Nashville, TN on October 6-7, 2001. According to Celise Harris, Marketing Director for the dBDRA, Colby will be appearing at the Finals on both days from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM to sign autographs and visit with the crowd. "We are constantly searching for ways to make the Finals appeal to a broader market." said Harris. "Colby's tremendous popularity will help us achieve that goal." Colby has appeared in numerous magazines and TV talk shows over the past year. (Rosie O'Donnell even bought him a Harley!) Currently, he is taking acting lessons in Hollywood, and according to one entertainment magazine, he has been talking with Steven Spielberg about starring in an upcoming movie along with Tom Cruise. Prior to Survivor, Colby earned a living customizing cars, so dB Drag Racing should be "right up his alley".
