Clarion Corporation of America has announced the early arrival of five new 2002 products. This line-up includes two CD Changers, a headrest monitor mount, a FM Modulator and a Video Distribution Amp.The DCZ625 is a six disc CD Changer for CeNet. Its features include a new six disc magazine tray designed for easy and precise disc loading and handling, reducing the risk for misfeeding. This changer also plays CD-R and CD-RW discs which the older changers could not play. The DCZ625 changer has both disc titling and CD text capabilities. Its Fiber Optic Digital Outputs allow this unit to interface with the DVS9755z DVD Player and support DTS Audio. Horizontal and vertical mounting capability allow this changer to be conveniently positioned in your car. The zero-bit detector mute circuit filters out all sound when music is not playing. And the 8x over sampling digital filter and the dual I-bit D/A converters are both features that contribute to this products excellent sound quality. The DCZ625 shows Clarion's continued support to the specialist dealer and will have a M.A.P. price of $199.99.
The DC625 is a six disc CD Changer for C-Bus. This product possesses all the same features as the DCZ625 except for the Fiber Optic Digital Output, disc titling and CD text capabilities. This model is aimed at Clarion’s mainstream dealer base and has the proper price point to attract expediter business while still maintaining excellent sound quality. The DC625 will have a M.A.P. price of $169.99.
Both changers will be available in early September and are the same physical size as the units in which they replace.
The HRM150 is Clarion’s new headrest monitor mount and replaces the HRM100. This model has an improved mounting bracket with two new trim rings, one flat and one angled. These trim rings have improved cosmetics and the entire bracket is an easier application providing a quick and easy fit. This M.A.P. price will be $ 29.99.
The FM200 is Clarion's new FM Modulator and continues with the same features, performance and price as the FM100S.
Lastly, is the VA700 video distribution amplifier. This has one RCA composite video input with seven buffered 75 ohm RCA composite video outputs. This allows a stable, flicker-free video signal for up to seven LCD monitors. This new product eliminates the biggest problem in multi-monitor video installations; degraded video displays. M.A.P. price will be $29.99.
