Concept Audio, a mobile audio company out of Phoenix, Arizona, will bring speed and sound together in their new demo vehicles. According to Jeff Green, "Concept Audio has a great product, and wanted to showcase it in a great fashion." Jeff turned to old friends Jonathan Frank & Bob Alicea at Hybrid Racing Development to tune every aspect of the cars. The entire project will be built out of Hybrid’s shop.
The 2 Honda CRX’s will have a variety of aftermarket products ranging from AEM to Wings West, but at the heart of the project the CRX’s will have transplanted J-Spec B16 motors. The third partner in Hybrid, Bryan Maloof will then take over and work his magic. The cars will have a Stage 3 port & polish, be balance & blueprinted, new JE pistons will be added to bring the compression down to 8.5:1and to ensure the cars will perform at the top of their class Maloof will O-ring the head for step 2 in February, when a custom fabricated turbo, Intercooler, & nitrous system will be installed.
"These are our manufacturers rep cars, so we wanted them to be the very best in sound & performance", explains Green.
The installation of the performance and audio products will be handled by Hybrid Racing Development, a tuning company out of Duluth, GA. Hybrid has gained a reputation for high quality work and excellent customer service. They are a full-service shop offering Balancing & Blueprinting, Flow Bench, Head resurfacing, Porting & Polishing, Valve Jobs, MIG & TIG Welding and Nitrous Refills, and a full show room carrying products from Apexi & AEM to Unorthodox Racing & Zex, all located under their 8500sq ft. building.
