The Asian 12 Volt market is now riding the Lightning. In order to ensure Lightning Audio’s Far East clients are kept up-to-date with the latest leading technologies, Lightning Audio recently held seminars in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Shanghai, China. The trainings and seminars were conducted over the course of five days in two countries by the award-winning RTTI staff. The first training was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and hosted by Lightning Audio Distributor Auto Craft. The one-day seminar for 120 dealers consisted of new products trainings and seminars on SPL and bd technologies.
The second portion of the trip included four days of intense training in Shanghai, China. Hosted by Lightning Audio Distributor Shanghai Forward Group, RTTI’s trainings consisted of seminars on ABS plastics, SPL, and 5.1 surround sound, as well as 12 Volt fundamentals and workshop design and setup. RTTI also attended the Auto Exhibition Shanghai 2001. Rockford’s own Hou-chi Brooks of the Tech Repair department in Tempe, Arizona conducted all translations.
"These trainings show how far Lightning Audio has come in the past couple years," explains Jim Henry, International sales manager for Lightning Audio. "The enthusiasm the seminar attendees had for Lightning is a testament for how bright a future Lightning has, especially in the Asian market."
Adds Bryan Schmitt, RTTI’s senior designer/fabricator, "The attendees at these seminars were hungry for information. We were very pleased to see how they want to work with Lightning Audio and utilize their experience and new-found knowledge in order to sell Lightning product and create awesome installs. It was a lot of fun working with them and they shed new light in many areas for us, as well. It was a learning experience on both sides. I can’t wait to go back."
