ESPNEWS is the definitive twenty-four hour sports news network featuring continuous up-to-the-minute scores, highlights, analysis, live interviews, press conferences and special events.
ESPN Radio is a twenty-four hour a day, seven days a week, channel that combines the national ESPN Radio broadcast service and play-by-play commentary of sporting events broadcast by ABC and ESPN, including Major League Baseball, NBA and college football games.
ABC NewsTalk is a twenty-four hour a day, seven days a week, channel featuring some of the country’s most popular news and entertainment programs selected from the ABC radio network and ABC owned stations.
The nation’s first channel dedicated to America’s truckers, produced in collaboration by ABC and Sirius, will feature the popular "Midnight Cowboy" program produced by WBAP in Dallas and other programming produced by Sirius and ABC specifically tailored for truckers.
ABC Radio Networks has more than 4,600 affiliate radio stations reaching 126 million persons age 12 and older each week. ABC broadcasts six full-service News Networks, Radio Disney, ESPN Radio, "Paul Harvey News and Comment" and "The Rest of the Story," "The Tom Joyner Morning Show" and "The Doug Banks Morning Show," "American Country Countdown with Bob Kingsley," 12 ABC Radio 24-hour music formats, ABC Sports, and an extensive line-up of music and talk programming.
From its three orbiting satellites, Sirius (www.siriusradio.com) will directly broadcast up to 100 channels of digital-quality radio to motorists throughout the continental United States for a monthly subscription fee of $12.95. Sirius will deliver 50 channels of commercial-free music in virtually every genre, and up to 50 channels of news, sports, talk, comedy and children’s programming. Sirius' broad and deep range of almost every music format as well as its news, sports and entertainment programming is not available on conventional radio in any market in the United States.
Sirius-ready radios, tuner modules and adapters that allow any car radio to receive Sirius broadcasts, as well as home and portable products, will be manufactured by Clarion, Kenwood, Jensen and Panasonic, and made available to consumers at retailers such as Circuit City, Best Buy, Good Guys, Tweeter and Crutchfield. Sirius also has alliances to install AM/FM/SAT radios in Ford, Chrysler, BMW, Mercedes, Mazda, Jaguar and Volvo vehicles as well as Freightliner and Sterling heavy trucks.
