A recently released PolkVerity Car Stereo Consumer Monitor declares that, as people's daily commutes continue to lengthen and an increasing importance is placed on time management, dealers of mobile entertainment and communications equipment stand to profit.Although only 28% of consumers seemed to know anything at all about mobile multimedia, the report suggests that a substantial enough number of consumers show some interest in buying a navigation system.
While only 16% of consumers were aware of the AutoPC, 27% were familiar when it was defined as a hands-free, voice-activated interactive system for your car that can include a navigation system, voice-controlled radio programming, cellular phone, pager, and systems that monitor mechanical systems.
The study suggests that all-in-one package products are most likely to draw consumers.
