Rockford Fosgate has announced that the new RFXMP3.8 eight Multi-Media Card changer is now shipping. The RFXMP3.8 gives users a way to use ripped music from the Internet in car audio systems. For Rockford Fosgate customers, the big news is full control in the dash -- all 1999 and 2000 RFX 8310, 8320 and 8330 source units can control the RFXMP3.8.The RFXMP3.8 includes the PC Docking station and one Multi-Media Card. The Multi-Media Card is available in storage mediums of 4Mb, 8Mb, 16Mb, and 32Mb. Three simple steps to music in the car:
1 - Find your favorite songs on MP3.com or from your CD collection. 2 - "Rip" or download files into your MP3 Multi-Media Card file. 3 - Insert the individual Multi-Media Card into the changer and fire up the system.
The Rockford Fosgate MP3.8 changer allows loading of up to eight of these individual Multi-Media Cards, for hours of MP3 music. An added benefit is the fact that MP3 is a solid state cyber component with no moving parts which all but assures 100 percent product reliability.
Rockford Fosgate also announced it is a member of the MP3.com(tm) affiliate program. This unique program allows RFXMP3.8 users to retrieve the MP3.com Top10(tm), as supplied daily from the MP3.com(tm) site directly from the Rockford Fosgate home page. Additionally, Rockford Fosgate fanatics will be able to retrieve Rockford Fosgate "skins" from the Rockford Fosgate home page. "Skins" customize the look and feel of the user's desktop MP3 player.
Dimensions are 2-1/2-inches H x 4-1/2-inches W x 3-inches D allowing the MP3.8 to be mounted nearly anywhere.
