The Mobile Electronics Retailers Association (MERA) begins a new fiscal year with the election of six board members. The new board members include:Daryl Jenkins, Dashboard, Durham, NC; Mark Miller, Westminster Speed, Westminster, MD; Lance Munson, Cartunes, Stillwater, OK; Mike Murphy, Quality Auto Sound, Denver, CO; Vicky Scrivner, Santa Fe Auto Sound, Overland Park, KS; and Russell Weldon, Boomer McLoud, Newington, CT.
The election of these retailers brings the total of MERA's Board of Directors to 12. They join Joe Cavanaugh of Stereo West, chairman; Mike Cofield of Custom Sounds, president; Robert Graham of Breakers Mobile Electronics, vice president; Charlie Weisel of The Specialist, secretery/treasurer; Bill McDowell of Wild Bill's Electronics; Joe Monahan of Car Stereo City; and Rob Wempe of Brands Mart.
MERA looks forward to the input and guidance from these new board members. As MERA continues to find and develop new ways to educate and train the independent 12-volt specialists, the new board members' participation and help will ensure the success of the association as it moves into the next millennium.
