Magnadyne's latest multimedia offering, the Movievision system, features a 6.4-inch TFT/active matrix flip-down screen which offers on-screen display for channel, input select, and VCR function controls. Separate brightness, contrast, and color adjustments, a built-in wireless transmitter for headphones, user-selectable 3-channel transmitter operation, and mono/stereo source selections are also included. the remote control eye is built into the low profile, pod style ceiling-mount screen housing. Magnadyne reports that the low-profile design, often one half the thickness of other units, offers a great OEM appearance.The wireless remote high-fidelity stereo VCR features both playback and record options with a built-in MTS stereo decoder tuner. A single remote control operates both the VCR and video screen functions. Two additional source inputs are provided for remote-controlled video game and camcorder operation. An exclusive 20-minute safety non-use timer automatically shuts down the system power after the ignition has been turned off. The VCR can be quickly and easily mounted, either vertically or horizontally, with special zip straps provided.
Each system also comes with a pair of deluxe wireless multichannel stereo headphones with separate volume, tuning, and on/off controls. The headphones are fully adjustable. Both headphones come with batteries included and additional wireless headphones are available as an optional accessory. An expansion port is also provided for connecting an optional pair of standard headphones as well.

The system was design with just two connecting cables and adapts to the vehicle radio system without the necessity of removing the radio. Universal kits, with and without built-in dome lights, and custom shrouds in all popular vehicle interior colors are available with mounting brackets and hardware that are vehicle specific. Magnadyne states that this unique design concept allows for reduced inventory requirements of actual video systems.
"With this system installed, you can watch movies or television, play video games (video games (not included) that will operate from a 12-volt power source), or even record live video on the go," explains Reardon.
