Esoteric Audio USA, Inc. has announced that Dr. Stephen Leigh, Keith Harbaugh, and Dan Borzone have joined the Esoteric E-Force team as of June 14, 1999. Headed by Dr. Leigh, the team will be responsible for development and manufacturing of electronic products at a new, state-of-the-art facility based in Phoenix, AZ.The formation of this team is the latest in a series of expansion moves this year by Esoteric. In January, Esoteric acquired NoiseKiller Sound Damping Technologies, Inc. which gave Esoteric exclusive worldwide rights to NoiseKiller patents, registrations and trademarks in the 12-volt audio industry, as well as exclusive worldwide marketing and distribution rights to all NoiseKiller sound damping products. In May, in order to meet record demand for StreetWires, TIFF, and GoldQuest products, a tripling of cable extrusion and wire twisting capacity, as well as the addition of second and third production shifts, were announced.
