With a strategic plan in place, the development team set out to increase brand and product line awareness. New features have been added to ensure its value to consumers, including cross-selling opportunities that educate customers about the variety of products available; easily accessible and more specific product data; and a more flexible, detailed engine that guides people through product comparisons.

Michael Dingle, executive vice-president of client development for Blast Radius said the modular approach the company took to rebuild Kenwoodusa.com enables Kenwood to easily add functionality or product lines in the future.

Value will also be added for Kenwood management, with the integration of analytic software. "Key Web statistics will be another tool to enable us to serve our customers better," states Richter.

The site's performance was completely overhauled, including hardware and server software upgrades to offer greater stability; ease in adding more functionality in the future with JSP (Java Server Pages); and increased flexibility in presenting content and mining information.
