J’s Alarm Puts on the Biggest and the Baddest dB Drag Racing Event in the Fresno Area; Interfire Also Launches IF-3X Electronic Crossover
The dB Drag circuit got a big kick-off on April 29th, 2001, Sunday, down on Fresno Fairgrounds in Northern California. There were many manufacturers present and one of the big contributors to the show was none other than Interfire Audio.

Numerous participants were using Interfire Audio products to compete and many of them walked away with winning trophies. As Joe Sanchez, owner of J’s Alarm and the main sponsor of the show, says, "This is the biggest turn out for a single point event I’ve ever seen! It almost looked as if it was a double point event."

These spectators were also amazed at all the Interfire Show Vehicles present at the show. A couple of the Show Vehicles were Interfire’s own Mitsubishi Eclipse and J’s Escalant Crew Cab Dually.

There were also many show participants walking around with Interfire Audio apparel. Raymond Lee of Prestige Marketing, says, "I’ve never seen so many people with the same outfit before. Well, with the exception of a NBA Playoff game, where everyone dresses up with their team jersey’s." Besides Interfire Audio being on hand at this event, there were many Authorized Interfire Dealers from Northern California who came along to support and promote Interfire Audio and its products. Some of the dealers present were, George Toutilcian of Hyetronics Sound in Clovis, Tony Va from Premier Audio in Fresno, Mario Tavena of Car Stereo City in Salinas, Fred Shaw from Broadway Auto Sound in Vallejo, William E. Nunes Jr. of Hollister Auto Sound in Hollister, along with all the employees of J’s Alarm of Fresno, and Faustino Rodriguez of Sound Connection in Fresno, who had their own booth there to promote their shop as well as Interfire Audio.

All in all, this dB Drag event was a great kick-off for Northern California. Interfire Audio did them proud by sponsoring and participating at this event and believes, along with everyone else at the show, that this show was a huge success.

Interfire has also announced the launch of the IF-3X crossover, packed with features including two or three way capability, 12 or 18 dB per octave crossover slopes, 0 - + 12dB variable requency bass boost, and more. MSRP is approximately $210.
