Code-Alarm Adjusts Management Structure to Focus on New Technology
Code-Alarm, Inc. has announced several key adjustments to its senior management to support a major new technology push, scheduled to debut this summer.

The Madison Heights, MI-based manufacturer has promoted three long-time executive, including two at the vice president level, to provide increased focus to its manufacturing, sales, and marketing efforts. The Company has also hired an experienced human resources professional to lead its HR efforts.

"The changes to our management structure allow us to focus more attention and resources on critical areas of our business: developing new technology, manufacturing new products, and selling those products to OEMs and the aftermarket," states Peter J Stouffer, president and Chief Operating Officer of Code-Alarm. "As we begin to bring new technology to market, these adjustments will ensure our key managers have the resources needed to be successful – and to support that success going forward.

We feel our new products, which Code-Alarm plans to introduce this summer, will set industry standards for vehicle convenience and security products for years to come. I look forward to working closely with these four managers as they step into their new positions and responsibilities at Code-Alarm."

Code-Alarm reports that management changes include:

Michael Schroeder has assumed the new position of Vice president of Marketing and Business Development where he will focus on marketing Code-Alarm’s new technology and developing new customers for that technology. As head of this newly created business unit, Schroeder will have responsibility for OEM and Tier One business development, as well as corporate marketing and program management. The company also plans to hire four managers to handle day-to-day operations in each of these areas; all four and their staffs will report to Schroeder.

David Rupert has been named vice president of Operations, expanding has role at Code-Alarm after spending five years as Manufacturing Manager. In his new role, Rupert will have responsibility over all the areas that will be required to deliver the new technology to market, including manufacturing operations, purchasing, logistics, manufacturing engineering, and quality assurance.

Joe Dentamaro has been named director of Field Sales, with responsibility for managing the company’s aftermarket and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) sales force.

Jeff Parrish, a new addition to Code-Alarm, will serve as Human Resources manager, with responsibility for all human resources, training, and payroll functions.
