Norton's Stereo, a family-owned chain of car stereo stores in South Carolina, has been named this year's Memphis Car Audio Retailer of the Year.The chain has been selling Memphis products for 15 years and now has six stores located throughout South Carolina.
"We recognized Norton's because of the great relationship we've had with them through the years," states Arthur Fulmer III, president of Memphis Car Audio. "The Norton family has been successful with our products for longer than almost any dealer in the nation. We expect this relationship to get even better as out two companies continue to grow and prosper."
Jimmy Norton, Sr., founded Norton's Stereo in 1977. The company expects to open a seventh Norton's Stereo in the near future.
"Our relationship with Memphis is absolutely great," says Norton Sr. "We're closer to them than with any other company because over the years their word has never changed. Unlike other companies, they always follow through with what they say."
