MobileVision Announces New Products
Goshen, IN-based MobileVision has announced the addition of several new products to the mobile video market.

MobileVision reports the company’s 2000 GM models are in stock and shipping -- both floor and overhead consoles are being offered in four different colors to complement the new interiors, including gray, light oak, shale, and pewter. MobileVision will also be adding a hi-fi, stereo, video cassette player exclusively designed for 12-volt applications to the line in the near future.

MobileVision will also soon be releasing a DVD player unique to the 12-volt market. Unlike other DVD's currently on the market, MobileVision reports that this unit incorporates all the functions of a home DVD. Features such as multilingual capabilities, zoom, angle selection, slow motion, and on screen macros will make this one of the leaders in 12-volt DVD players. The unit is compact in size, lending itself to a variety of different vehicle applications. MobileVision states that this player has passed the company’s stringent 12-volt testing and it is expected to ship by the end of June.

MobileVision will also offer a complete selection of separate monitors. A full range of sizes will offer custom installs for all applications. For visor and headrest applications, MobileVision will offer a 4-, 5-, 5.6- and 6.4-inch monitor. Larger models suitable for SUV's and vans will be available in 10-, 11.3-, 12.1- and 15-inch sizes. For multiple monitors, MobileVision will offer a video amplifier with capabilities to drive six separate monitors. These may be daisy-chained to drive 18 monitors from one source.
