Emerson Mobile announces the additional of four new mobile video products to their current lineup. "Once again we are delivering on our promise to bring the highest quality of mobile video products to the masses. These four new models, which are priced very competitively, complete our video line up for 2001," says John Martin, national sales manager for Emerson Mobile.DV 1300 (Currently Shipping, MSRP $399)
The DV-1300 is a universal mount 12-Volt DVD player. "The unit which only measures 6 5/8-inches X 81/4-inches X 2-inches is the smallest on the market, plays various disc formats such as DVD, CD, Super VCD, MP3, and CDR. Additional features include a 10-second buffer memory which eliminate skipping problems, and an external remote eye. This unit has been in high demand by all of our dealers and we have been excited about the acceptance of this unit," explains Martin.
MT 1560 (Currently Shipping, MSRP $399)
The MT-1560 is a high resolution 5.6-inch TFT/LCD screen. This model is shipped with both universal mounting bracket and a headrest mounting bezel. The video switching module (included ) will handle two different video sources and is capable of driving up to three other screens. The MT-1560 comes with a credit card sized full function remote, which controls all on-screen video functions. The screen can also be manually controlled from the front panel. "This model which measures only 1-inch in depth, is one of the most versatile 5.6-inch monitor on the market, claims Martin, it is designed for easy installation and meets the most demanding customer when it comes to picture quality."
MT 2200 (Shipping in July, MSRP $599)
The MT 2200 is Emerson’s "DVD ready" universal roof mount 7-inch screen. The monitor offers an ultra sharp picture and can be viewed in 3 different formats (4:3, 16:9 and Zoom) and works seamlessly with any source. The MT 2200 can accommodate up to two different video sources that can be switched with the credit card remote control, or manually from the screens control panel. This high-resolution screen (336,960 DPI) is equipped with two dome lights which are built into the slim-line housing.
"With the popularity of DVD in the market place this 16:9 aspect ratio monitor will be a winner for the Emerson Mobile video line up," claims Martin.
DV X 3000 (Shipping in July, MSRP $799)
"The DV-X3000 should complete our video line with the most success," says Martin. The DV-X3000 in an in-dash DIN sized AM/FM DVD, MP3, CD, CDR player. By adding the tuner to the DVD player Emerson now offer even greater video source choices. The DV-X3000 also has a 15x4 built in amplifier, dual pre-amp outputs and a S-Video, and a Digital Audio Outputs as well as the standard Video output. The DVX-3000 comes with a full function remote control and a remote eye which gives the installer unlimited mounting choices. "This is the unit our dealers have been asking us for, and we are truly excited about offering it," says Martin.
