Lightning Audio has announced that it has appointed SPL World Record holder and Team RF member Kyle Witherspoon as its technical trainer. In his new position, Witherspoon will conduct all Lightning Audio training as part of Rockford Technical Training Institute (RTTI), including product and technical instruction, and he will also help design and conduct the audio install for future Lightning Audio demo vehicles."We knew we needed a technical trainer who intimately knows the Lightning Audio product line top to bottom," explains Mark Fukuda, director of RTTI. "Kyle was the perfect choice. He’s been dealing with Lightning Audio product issues as a technical service rep for more than a year and is using Lightning product in his competition vehicle. What more could we ask for in a technical trainer?"
Bill Jackson, Lightning Audio managing director, believes that Lightning’s dealer base will benefit tremendously from Kyle’s experience and expertise. "How often can a dealer learn from a world record holder one-on-one? Well, now our dealers will learn from the best and stay ahead of the competition."
Adds Witherspoon, "This is a great opportunity for me and for Lightning. I’ve worked with Lightning and its product line for a while now and they have contributed greatly to my success on the competition circuit and my knowledge of the industry. I’m very much looking forward to getting on the road and meeting and training Lightning’s dealer base."
