OnStar Wins Second Computerworld Honors Award
|

OnStar was named the winner of the Transportation category and coveted 21st Century Achievement Award by the 2001 Computerworld Honors Program. This is the second time the GM subsidiary has been recognized by the Computerworld program since 1996. OnStar received the award during ceremonies at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. General Magic Inc. nominated the OnStar Virtual Advisor for its contributions to the global information technology revolution and its impact on society. OnStar was selected as one of five finalists in the Transportation category.
