MTX Audio joined CollegeClub.com on a rockin' tour that gave college students immediate access to the latest technological advances so they could plan their futures and have a great time. MTX Audio was proud to be part of Dorm2K, an interactive college tour, brought to campuses across the nation by CollegeClub.com, an integrated communications and media Internet company. CollegeClub.com operates the leading online destination geared toward college students.
The MTX-sponsored Dorm2K tour featured four college students traveling in a 18-wheeler truck reconfigured to be a mobile, futuristic dorm room. The CollegeClub.com vehicle was jam-packed with great MTX Audio products, including 10- Model 525W in-wall speakers, 10 Thunder T5108 subwoofers, two Thunder225HO amplifiers, two X4 mixers, four P12H pro full-range speakers and four P15SRB pro subwoofers.
"MTX Audio helped us rock campuses from Las Vegas to Florida...it brought the students out of the dorms and the classrooms to check out Dorm 2K" explains Carol Ann Henderson, CollegeClub.com director of promotions. "MTX's killer sounds turned our Dorm 2K vehicle into a party vehicle at Daytona Beach for Spring Break 2000."
The CollegeClub.com crew visited 20 different college campuses from February 1 to March 26. The group entertained students in Nevada, Arizona, California, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida and Georgia. The CollegeClub.com members even made quite a splash at the Baja Beach Club in Daytona Beach, Florida March 24–26.
When students stepped into the CollegeClub.com semi-trailer, they were launched into a world of information where all the resources they needed for success in life were right at their fingertips. The vehicle featured 10 computers with flash movies highlighting CollegeClub.com and X: drive, a program that allows one to store information on the Internet. Students could also play great video games on four big-screen televisions, and they had the chance to win many exciting prizes.
Teamed up with MTX Audio, the CollegeClub.com Dorm2K tour was a big success as the great MTX products drew substantial crowds to the exciting semi-trailer, which linked technology and fun. MTX Audio was glad to join the tour so it could bring a world of information and great music to students all over the country.
