In more Audiobahn news, the company announced that their profit, sales, and warehouse space increased twofold since December of 2000.
30,000 square feet of warehouse space was added to Audiobahn’s building at 7050 Village Avenue in May of this year. The new warehouse will be used to house the overflowing product, which arrives and is shipped every day at the Audiobahn warehouse.
The new addition was bound to emerge due to increased sales during the last four months. Audiobahn credits their aggressive, product promotion along with a larger consumer demand and increased industry interest for their growth.
And Audiobahn has proved yet again that their dedication and admiration towards the 12-volt automotive event industry surpasses all others, according to the company.
On May 6, 2001, Audiobahn attended the well-advertised DUB event thrown by the show titled magazine. Although the gates for the public were scheduled to open at 3:00 pm, Audiobahn’s day started bright and early at 5:00 am and lasted into the wee hours of the night.
Audiobahn was on hand with their impressive 40 x 40 booth, which was complete with several 2001 products, catalogs, and three outrageous demo vehicles, which included a slammed 1996 Impala SS, 2001 Expedition, and the infamous 2000 "Andersen" Accord.
From the time the gates opened (5:00 pm) until the show closed at 9:00 pm the Audiobahn booth was packed with eager enthusiasts that ranged from first time buyers to industry veterans. As the hot day wore on, so did the testosterone and the tempers. Unfortunately, a fight broke out right in front of the Audiobahn booth causing havoc all around. Once the dust settled the "Andersen" Accord was a little banged up and in much need of a dent doctor. Not only did the rowdy crowd bruise the well-publicized Accord, they also managed to douse the vehicle with a fresh coat of MGD!
Although the event was hot, hectic and havoc wreaking, that did not deter Audiobahn. In fact, Rick Andersen was quoted as saying, "We did it once and we will do it again. Audiobahn is committed to its fans and consumers."
Riding the wave of empowerment, Audiobahn has once again validated their presence in the 12-volt and automotive industry. Fights, beer, late nights, rowdy crowds, it does not matter – as their famous slogan says, "BRING IT ON!" Audiobahn seems ready for anything!
Yet, in still more company news, Steven Hayes has been appointed international sales manager. As an industry veteran, Steven will play a significant role in helping Audiobahn continue its remarkable and unstoppable growth.
Steven Hayes joins Audiobahn after over 20 years of industry experience. Steven’s most recent experience includes a stint at Clifford as a factory direct sales rep and at Ample Audio as national sales manager.
Nasser Abo Abdo, president of Audiobahn says, "We are excited to have Steven join the Audiobahn team. We are confident that our business will continue experiencing solid rapid growth and are equally convinced that Steven will make a significant contribution toward achieving Audiobahn’s goals for the future."
"I am very excited to bring this trend setting, award winning Audiobahn product to the world," says Hayes. "My mission is to mold Audiobahn into a world leader in the car audio industry. The products and services Audiobahn has to offer will help to ensure our success."
