Metro Auto Electronics Announces its 5th Anniversary
Metro Auto Electronics Training Institute announced their 5th Anniversary. Located in New Jersey, Metro Auto Electronics is a private vocational school licensed by the State of the NJ Department of Education since January, 1995.

Metro's success continues to grow even more so today than back when the program wasn't just in demand for qualified trained technicians in mobile electronics. The program was designed with two major specific goals in mind. Firstly, to provide a solid understanding of the basic skills needed to professionally install auto sound, auto security, and cellular telephones. Secondly, Metro Auto Electronics not only teaches its students a wonderful trade, but it is enhanced more so when the students become certified through a nationally recognized Mobile Electronics Certification Program (MECP). The school was awarded in 1998 by MECP as "Proctor of the Year." Mobile electronics manufacturers, along with retailers, consider the MECP certification the ultimate achievement in this industry. Upon graduation, students of Metro are able to take the MECP test at the institute's facilities in Kenilworth, NJ.

Furthermore, upon completion of this course, job placement is established and offered to graduates through retail stores and smaller outlets. Companies interested in hiring are constantly contacting Metro on an ongoing basis with their requirements. Metro places the graduates in challenging jobs as early as one week after completion of the course; the job opportunities are endless.

If one chooses this exciting field as a main source either of income, or to fall back on as a second career, either way the means of income can be greatly advantageous. To put things in perspective, the aftermarket of the auto electronics industry grossed over $2 billion over the last couple of years. In addition, with the advent of on board computer systems, the workload of retail stores has increased dramatically.

Many of Metro's students have gone on to become entrepreneurs in the auto electronics business, opening their own stores. Others have found rewarding employment opportunities with established retail stores, national chain stores, new car dealerships, and cellular communications companies.

Metro is the only school in the "tri-state area" that trains individuals in the field of aftermarket auto electronics installations. The courses are set up to facilitate anyone who is interested in becoming a professional installer. Either with or without background in this field, Metro provides individualized tuition ensuring that all students' needs are met and become fully trained. Metro Auto Electronics offers both day and evening classes to students within the area. For students from out-of-state, they provide the same quality education at an affordable price through their Home Study courses. Through this, they can extend an education right to their front doors, where they can pace themselves.

All courses are reasonably affordable, and if needed, long-term financing is available through Sallie Mae to those who qualify.
