"Car Audio Events" is a new Web site providing a variety of information on USAC events in the Southwest region of the country. Mike Jaffe, USAC's new regional director for Zone 11, organized the site, which can be reached on the Internet at www.caraudioevents.com.Car Audio Events is the home of USAC "turn-key" events in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and El Paso, Texas.
"The goal of our site is to inform manufacturers, retailers, and competitors about the latest developments concerning all USAC events in our area," offers Jaffe. "My original intention was to create something that anyone from our area with an interest in autosound could derive information and entertainment."
The new Web site makes it possible to have show results posted almost immediately. Those who visit the site can also sign up to receive information on how to host USAC events of their own.
USAC has been sanctioning car audio competitions for the past 13 years. This season USAC will have events in more than 500 locations across the country.
