CAR SOUND Opens USAC Competition Forum
CAR SOUND has officially announced the opening of the USAC Competition Forum. Moderated by USAC president Ralph Randall (USAC) and technical director Tim Goudy (txcomp), the USAC Competition Forum is dedicated to discussions about the USAC competition format, rules, and show updates. If you've got a question about any aspect of USAC, this will be the place to ask it!

Ralph Randall summed up the goal of this new Forum best in his initial post: "We hope this will become a source of information exchange and a think tank of sorts to discuss the organization and ways to improve it. While ALL opinions are welcome, we want to keep the language and tone constructive. I am sure we will all benefit from this new area."

With this in mind, please think about the following things as you formulate your posts for any of the CAR SOUND Forums: Avoid obscenities -- up to this point, we've been very successful at keeping this board relatively upscale and professional, and I'd like to keep it that way. Once we start throwing out the four-letter words, the rest will follow... Avoid all personal attacks -- we're trying to help Forum members, competitors, and the industry as a whole with this Forum. Personal attacks hurt everyone involved. Please try not to ask brand-specific questions (i.e., "What's the best amplifier on the market?" "Is sub X better than sub Y?"). Our moderators' mission is to offer up the facts and allow you, the reader, to draw your own conclusions. If you have a technical question regarding a specific product please be sure to ask it in a fair and logical manner (i.e., "'Brand X' specifies that its amplifier does 300 watts at 2 ohms -- is this possible?).
