Meguiar's "Car Crazy" To Debut On Radio
"Car Crazy," a weekly radio show for auto enthusiasts, collectors, racers, and restorers, will debut in April and will be presented by Meguiar's, Inc., manufacturer of premium surface care products, now celebrating its 100th anniversary.

Syndicated to approximately 30 stations throughout the U.S. by Talk America Radio Networks, "Car Crazy" will air every Saturday Morning from 8–9 AM (EST) to more than 250,000 listeners. The radio show will emulate the popular "Car Crazy" television series that Meguiar's president and CEO, Barry Meguiar, presently hosts on Speedvision, which returns for the 2001 season with all-new episodes, beginning in May, on alternate Monday evenings at 8:30 PM (EST).

Both "Car Crazy" series – television and radio – will showcase Barry Meguiar's lively interviews with celebrities, enthusiasts, and recognized "car crazies." Past segments have highlighted guests like "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno; publishing magnate Robert E. Peterson, former Indy 500 winner Parnelli Jones; performance parts specialist Vic Edelbrock Jr.; pre-eminent car collector Bruce Meyer; and ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons.

The "Car Crazy" radio program will also feature well-known automotive journalist Paul Einstein of the Detroit Bureau and theCarConnection.com, who will provide informative and provocative weekly automotive news segments. Radio host Bob Long from "Auto World" will co-host the hour-long weekly radio program contributing interviews with major auto manufactures like Michael Driscoll, president of Jaguar, and collector personalities such as Larry Erich, publisher of HEMMINGS MOTOR NEWS.

"We are excited to launch the radio version of our "Car Crazy" television show, to bring not only news, but entertaining and informative features on various automotive personalities -- from collectors and modifiers to racers and media -- to auto enthusiasts everywhere," states Barry Meguiar. "A radio format allows listeners to tune in while they're enjoying the hobby they're crazy about."
