The National Accreditation Board has unanimously voted to endorse Mobile Dynamics' Toronto based 240-hour (6 week) Installer Training Program citing the school's ability to meet or exceed all of the requirements for accreditation. The Audit team made up of accreditation inspectors, automotive industry veterans, and mobile electronics industry veterans spent the full day on March 7th inspecting every aspect of the operations of the Mobile Dynamics program resulting in unanimous recommendation for the approval of accreditation.
"We're proud to be the only accredited mobile electronics program in North America," states Derek Lee, Managing Director. "This validates our eleven year history as the 'Harvard' or 'MIT' of mobile electronics schools."
An excerpt from the evaluation report presented to the board reads "...their personal pride in and high dedication to the pursuit of excellence through on-going industry contributions and professional development have left the audit team with a great deal of admiration and respect."
"The audit team was impressed that our instructors have the authority to update the program on a moments notice," comments Ron Hardy, Director of Training at Mobile Dynamics. "Most colleges can't implement a change sometimes for years."
The CARS National Accreditation Board is responsible for accreditation of automotive-based training programs at the college and post secondary level. Since Mobile Dynamics was the first industry based training program not delivered by a community college, the board elected to make a personal inspection of the facility. At the conclusion of the tour, the board chairman, a Program Development Manager at General Motors commended the instructors for their dedication and outstanding performance.
The board was also impressed that the industry MECP certification was highly supported and the exam was originally based on materials submitted by Mobile Dynamics. An excerpt from the report states, "The delivery agent is a key contributor to the maintenance of standards for the industry and the international Mobile Electronics Certification Programs (MECP). In view of the high commitment of Mobile Dynamics' management and teaching staff to this unique program, it is no coincidence, that this program attracts international students from various continents to the (Toronto) campus."
Mobile Dynamics was founded in 1990 in north Toronto, Ontario as an independently owned mobile electronics training and support company designed to assist manufacturers, distributors and retailers of mobile electronics equipment with training and support services. A second facility was opened in Phoenix, AZ in 1996 to serve the southwestern US and Latin America. Mobile Dynamics is currently in discussions to license its unique curriculum and training style to several colleges and organizations in Europe, Asia and North America.
