iBiquity Digital Appoints Shuldiner Vice President And General Counsel
iBiquity Digital Corporation has announced the appointment of Albert Shuldiner as vice president and general counsel. Shuldiner will be responsible for overseeing the company's legal affairs and shaping the company's regulatory and intellectual property strategies, including representing the company before U.S. and international government agencies and industry standard setting boards.

Al Shuldiner brings to iBiquity Digital his expertise in communications and regulatory policy issues, and a unique understanding of IBOC. His experience representing us as outside counsel has prepared him to help us introduce our AM and FM digital broadcast iDAB technology into the marketplace as the industry standard," states Robert Struble, president and CEO, iBiquity Digital. Prior to joining iBiquity Digital, Shuldiner represented iBiquity Digital in private practice in the Washington, D.C. office of Vinson & Elkins for five years. During this time, he helped establish iBiquity Digital's regulatory strategy and developed its October 1999 petition for rulemaking, which initiated the FCC's current consideration of its AM and FM digital broadcast iDAB technology. Shuldiner also represented the company before the National Radio Systems Committee (NRSC) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

iBiquity Digital's iDAB technology will enable radio broadcasters to transmit a digital signal, capable of delivering CD-like audio as well as wireless data signals for a wide variety of consumer applications, including traffic and weather information. In the future, in-vehicle, home and potentially a host of non-traditional digital radio receivers, such as personal digital assistants and smart phones, will receive wireless data transmitted by AM and FM digital radio stations.
