The International Auto Sound Challenge Association has appointed a new steering committee that will develop rules, policies, and procedures for the upcoming competition season.Formerly known as the Rules and Ethics Committee, the new IASCA Rules Development Committee (IRDC) will act as an organized and responsive body for updating IASCA competition rules and software with a focus on clarity and fairness for all IASCA competitors.
The IRDC will consist of a steering committee with three sub-committees (IdBL, Installation, and Sound Quality), and an Engineering Council to support all committees. In addition, IASCA has appointed a producer for the 2001 Competition and Set-Up CDs. Each committee, sub-committee and council will consist of at least three and no more than four members.
IRDC Steering Committee-responsible for rules and procedure issues that fall outside of the sub-committee roles.
