Metro Students Likely to Pass MECP Exam
Metro Auto Electronics Training Institute, Inc. is a private vocational school, licensed by the state of New Jersey Department of Education since January 1995. Metro is the only school in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) that trains individuals in the field of aftermarket auto electronics installation; this encompasses autosound equipment, auto security devices, and cellular phone systems.

Their unique training program also prepare participants for the MECP (Mobile Electronics Certification Program) licensing exam. Metro was awarded the "1998 Proctor of the Year" MECP. To the credit of Metro's head theory professor, Alex Allphin, participating Metro students who take the MECP exam are at an 85% pass rate.

Some Metro graduates have gone on to own their own auto electronics businesses, but most find employment with established retail stores.

For more details, call Metro at 800-649-6387.
