Eclipse by Fujitsu Ten, has introduced the powerful new amplifier model 34230 (MSRP=$749.99) which produces an incredible 1.1k watts Max. (RMS 740 watts) power output at 4 ohms. The model 34230 was created with the company's dedication to quality construction, sonic excellence, and flat-out performance. No current limiting, a completely unregulated power supplies guarantee a neutral, clean sound quality with dynamic power on demand."This is simply the most powerful full range amplifier we have ever built," says Vincent De Stefano, national sales manager of Eclipse by Fujitsu Ten. The Eclipse 34230 relies on separate and independent amplifier power supply and audio sections to ensure a stable source of power and clear audio signal. "The benefit of having separate power and audio sections are more important in a car audio environment, because of significant electrical current, vibration, and various sources of distortion," De Stefano adds.
Eclipse reports the 34230 delivers perfect power with no unwanted noise. Interference between the power and audio sections, such as switching pulse distortion and radiated noise, are eliminated completely. The 34230 even utilizes a symmetrical component layout to achieve superior channel separation. Each R and L channel is physically isolated, eliminating the possibility of cross modulation. Using this technique improves stereo separation and imaging capabilities of the audio system.
A huge piece of metal used at the power supply input connector of the 34230 allows the flow of high current to the PC board more efficiently without potential meltdown of solder or the added resistance of additional hardware. Passing all of that current on a buss bar, rather than into a soldered circuit board trace, keeps unwanted heat and resistance to a minimum. The secondary audio signal circuit board also has input power connections to the main PC board using the same copper buss bar blocks, which helps to keep the heat out of the amplifier's delicate and sensitive electronic components.
Eclipse has engineered tremendous range of input voltage handling capabilities into the new amplifier so those users can take advantage of the full performance of the high voltage output that head unit offers. Without high voltage inputs, an amplifier will clip prematurely and create excessive heat in the speakers. With up to a full 8-volt range of audio signal input, Eclipse's amplifiers are compatible with virtually any audio source voltage output used in car audio today.
The 34230 feature the built-in ChannelFlex crossover and the crossover pre-amp level outputs, which make adding additional amplifiers in the system a simple, straightforward process. All the signal purity is maintained throughout due to common signal reference grounds and high signal voltages.
