From there, the pending order is sent directly to Ultimate?s corporate offices via the Web for approval. John Patterson, InstallEdge.com sales manager, also receives notification of the pending order. Once the order has been approved by Ultimate, Patterson then receives electronic notification of the approval and then can process the order for shipment directly to the Ultimate installation location.

Patterson says that the new process has already streamlined order entry between the two companies. "We have been working with Ultimate Electronics since the beginning of the year and already have had tremendous results with them," he explains. "Luis Montes, our senior principal software engineer, has done a tremendous job perfecting the software and we are now looking towards an even greater relationship with Ultimate."
