Mitek Announces Organization Changes and Promotions
Loyd Ivey, CEO of Mitek Corporation, announces that, to accommodate the company’s growth, Mitek will establish a divisional organization structure. The company structure will consist of a Consumer Electronics Division, Commercial Sound Division, and Manufacturing and Finance Division, each with Division Presidents. Ivey states, “Our recent acquisitions make Mitek one of the largest sound and communications manufacturers in the United States. It is imperative that our structure reflect our commitment and focus on both the consumer electronics world and the commercial sound world.”

Scott Roark, formerly MTX Executive Vice President of Marketing, will assume the role of Mitek President, Consumer Products Division. Roark’s professional background spans more than 15 years in the consumer electronics industry, including manufacturer and retail sales, installation and technical engineering. He will be responsible for directing the sales, marketing, product development, and technical support activities of MTX Audio, Coustic Car Audio, Xtant Technologies, and DCM Loudspeakers. Roark has been with Mitek for 11 years.

Bill Aichele, formerly MTX Director of Business Expansion, will take on the responsibility of Mitek President, Commercial Sound Division. Aichele has more than twenty years of experience in the audio industry, many of those in the OEM and commercial sound arena. He will be responsible for Mitek OEM sales and the sales, marketing, product development and technical support activities of Oaktron Industries and Atlas-Soundolier. Aichele has been with MTX for 3 years.

Bill Lavarnway, formerly MTX Chief Financial Officer, will assume the post of Mitek President, Manufacturing and Finance Division. Lavarnway has extensive experience in manufacturing, and his professional experience also includes thirteen years with Arthur Andersen & Co., directing commercial audits and computer auditing programs. He will direct the Mitek financial activities, as well as manage the Mitek facilities in Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, Arizona, and Texas. Lavarnway has been with Mitek for 3 years.

Loyd Ivey also announced that, concurrent with the establishment of the three new Divisions, several in-house Mitek partners have been promoted to new roles within the company. “Mitek has a policy of promoting from within," explains Ivey. "The Mitek partners receiving promotions as part of our new organizational structure have a combined history of more than 100 years with the Mitek Corporation. In this day of rapid job changes and trends toward shorter tenure, the stability of our senior management team is one of our greatest strengths as an organization. That strong foundation continues throughout our company, as we have many partners who have achieved their 10 and 20 year anniversaries.”

The additional promotions announced by Mitek as part of the organization changes are:
