Magadyne Debuts Accessories For MovieVision System
Magnadyne recently announced the availability of several new accessory products for their MovieVision in-car video arcade system — the universal shroud, universal wireless headphones, and the MV-ANT1, MV-ANT2, and RV74 mobile antennas. The MovieVision system from the factory includes a 6.4-inch TFT/active matrix flip-down screen, a wireless remote high-fidelity stereo VCR with two additional source inputs for remote-controlled video game and camcorder operation, and a pair of deluxe wireless multichannel stereo headphones with separate volume, tuning, and on/off controls.

"New universal shrouds — with and without dome light — offer the lowest profile and quickest installation time in the business," explains Pat Reardon, executive vice president of Magnadyne Corporation.

Magnadyne states that the unique design concept, including offering the components as complete assemblies or as individual ceiling mount pieces, significantly reduces inventory requirements of actual video systems and makes installation a snap in over 20 of the most popular SUV and Mini-Vans, including: Chevrolet's Lumina, Astro, Ventura, and Express vans; Dodge Caravans and Durangos; GMC's Safari and Savanna vans; Mitsubishi's Montero and Montero Sport; Ford's Econoline and Windstar vans; Honda's Odyssey and Passport; the Isuzu Rodeo; the Jeep Cherokee; the Plymouth Voyager; the Lincoln Villager; and the Toyota Previa.

Each set of universal wireless headphones include a deluxe wireless multichannel stereo headphone with separate volume, tuning, and on/off controls. The headphones, which come with batteries included, are fully adjustable to fit any size and include studio design ear pads for a comfortable fit. The MovieVision system is designed to accommodate as many extra headsets as desired to enjoy all of it's listening benefits.

Designed for ease of installation in virtually any type of mobile application, the model MV-ANT1 is a standard glass-mount antenna; the model MV-ANT2 is an amplified glass-mount configuration; and the model RV74 is a specially-designed system that can be used in seat-back installations or fiberglass roof-mounted in vans or other unique applications.

"With this new lineup of both standard and amplified antennas, the MovieVision package is now complete," state Reardon. "Not only can you watch videos and movies or play video games while on-the-go, you can now watch broadcast television as well."
