Analog Devices Offers Micromachined Sensor for State-Of-The-Art Motorcycle Anti-Theft Systems
Analog Devices has announced that ARITRONIX, Ltd., of Phoenix, AZ, has selected the company's ADXL202 high-performance, high-accuracy, dual-axis accelerometer for use in high-quality electronic security and anti-theft systems for the motorcycle industry.

The ADXL202 accelerometer will be designed into the ARITRONIX GSN-100 stand-alone "smart-inclination" sensor, sold worldwide to industry-leading motorcycle manufacturers, including Yamaha and Harley Davidson Motor Company.

"A motorcycle alarm system must function with a high degree of accuracy and sensitivity in an exceedingly complex, challenging environment," states Moshe Delev, managing director, ARITRONIX. "Analog Devices' ADXL202 accelerometer is the ideal sensor for motorcycle security because of its low power consumption, environmentally friendly technology, small form factor, and ease of implementation."
