MDP-1010 10.2-inch TFT Widescreen Monitor Portable DVD — The latest addition to the Mintek line, the 10.2-inch 16:9 TFT monitor offers the widest viewing angle available — nearly 180 degrees, representing a +118 percent improvement over a conventional 7-inch screen — and weighs in at a mere 1.68 pounds. Features include two built-in speakers, an anti-shock system, S-video and two-channel audio inputs, AV input/output, a headphone jack, an optical output, a high capacity rechargeable lithium battery, a multifunction remote control, and an automobile power adapter. MSRP is $499.

MDP-1810 8-inch TFT Widescreen Monitor Portable DVD — One of the newest models in the full-featured line of Mintek Digital players, the MDP-1810 8-inch TFT Widescreen Monitor Portable DVD weighs in at a slight 1.83 pounds and features an 8-inch 16:9 widescreen monitor, built-in stereo speakers, and a built-in anti-shock system. The MSRP is $349.

MDP-1720 7-inch TFT Widescreen Monitor Portable DVD — Offering a slim profile that’s less than 1-inch-deep, the MDP-1720 7-inch TFT Widescreen Monitor Portable DVD is the slimmest portable on the market, the company says. With built-in stereo speakers and an anti-shock system, this model is available at an SRP of $249.

MDP-1770 7-inch TFT Widescreen Monitor Portable DVD — Offering the same features as the MDP-1720 in a slightly larger footprint, the MDP-1720 7-inch TFT Widescreen Monitor Portable DVD weighs less than two pounds. The SRP is $229.00.

MDP-5861 5-inch TFT Widescreen Monitor Portable DVD — Mintek Digital’s smallest unit, the MDP-5861 5-inch TFT Widescreen Monitor Portable DVD packs all the same features as the larger models, including built-in speakers, into a 1.28-pound unit that’s perfect for lightweight travel. It’s priced under $200.
